Cardiology is a branch of medicine dealing with disorders of the heart be it
human or animal. The field includes medical diagnosis and treatment of
congenital heart defects, coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular
heart disease and electrophysiology.

Education: Aspiring
cardiologists need to obtain their bachelor’s degree and then enroll in a
medical school program. After graduating from medical school, cardiologist training
in residency program.
